During the unprecedented challenges of August 2020, Ahmedabad Developer Club (ADC) partnered with the UVPCE CSI Student Branch to organize Learning Week 2020 — a comprehensive 5-day virtual technical series designed to ensure continuous, accessible learning for students and professionals across India.
5 Days, 5 Trending Technologies
Each afternoon from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM IST, participants joined live, interactive webinars covering critical technical disciplines:
- Monday (Aug 17) — Data Science & Python: Jasprit Kaur demonstrated practical data manipulation, visualization, and foundational data science techniques using modern Python libraries.
- Tuesday (Aug 18) — Internet of Things (IoT): Vatsa Trivedi led a live architectural demonstration on connecting edge microcontroller devices with cloud platforms for real-time telemetry.
- Wednesday (Aug 19) — Digital Marketing & SEO: Rushabh Soni provided actionable insights into technical search engine optimization, web analytics, and developer brand building.
- Thursday (Aug 20) — Cyber Security Essentials: Harshil Shah walked attendees through real-world threat vectors, ethical hacking demonstrations, and defense-in-depth principles.
- Friday (Aug 21) — Medical Technology Innovations: Prince Modi highlighted the intersection of engineering and healthcare, exploring how software and embedded systems power diagnostic instrumentation.
Community Impact
Learning Week 2020 reinforced our core belief: physical distance should never hinder intellectual growth and community support. Over hundreds of attendees registered across the five days, building confidence across diverse technology domains.
