# Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 2026 Jurisdiction: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
Welcome to the Ahmedabad Developer Club (ADC) website (the "Platform"). By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and ADC, governed by the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Platform.
1. Permitted Use & Code of Conduct
The ADC Platform is designed for software developers, technology enthusiasts, and community partners to discover events, submit proposals, apply to volunteer, and learn about the club.
You are permitted to: - Browse event schedules, speaker profiles, and community resources. - Submit genuine applications for speaking, volunteering, or sponsorship via our contact forms. - Contribute to the website's open-source repository according to our contribution guidelines.
You are strictly prohibited from: - Scraping, extracting data, or conducting automated data mining on the Platform. - Submitting spam, fraudulent, or malicious data through the Web3Forms intake system. - Attempting to exploit, hack, or disrupt the website's edge infrastructure or static hosting environments. - Harassing, threatening, or impersonating organizers, speakers, or community members.
2. User-Generated Content
ADC relies on community contributions, including form submissions and GitHub Pull Requests (PRs).
- Form Submissions: By submitting a talk proposal, volunteer application, or sponsorship inquiry, you grant ADC the right to review, store, and utilize the provided information solely for the purpose of evaluating your request. You confirm that the content you submit is your own or you have the right to share it.
- Code Contributions (GitHub): All code, markdown content, and assets submitted via Pull Request to the official ADC GitHub repository become subject to the repository's prevailing open-source license.
3. Account & Access Termination
Since the ADC website operates without traditional user accounts (zero-backend), "account termination" applies to your access to our communication channels and contribution workflows.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to: - Block IP addresses that demonstrate malicious activity or spam. - Ignore or permanently ban users from submitting future Web3Forms inquiries. - Reject GitHub Pull Requests or ban contributors who violate our community Code of Conduct.
4. Liability Disclaimer
The Platform and all community events are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
- ADC, its core organizers, volunteers, and partners shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website or attendance at our events.
- We do not guarantee the permanent availability of the website and assume no liability for errors, outages, or data loss.
- Event schedules, venue availability, and speaker line-ups are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice. ADC is not liable for any logistical or financial losses incurred due to such changes.
5. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach thereof, shall be resolved amicably through direct communication with the core organizers.
If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
6. Right to Modify
ADC reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our operations, legal obligations, or community guidelines.
Changes will be recorded in the public Git commit history of the repository and reflected on this page. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
