Event Overview
As the quote by Herbert Spencer reminds us: *"The great aim of education is not knowledge but action."* On November 15, 2021, Ahmedabad Developer Club collaborated with Sapientury Pvt Ltd to host Arduino for Beginners, an experiential hardware engineering session led by SYSOPS Engineer Poojitha M K.
Bridging Software with Physical Hardware
For many software developers, embedded hardware can feel daunting due to component costs and electrical safety complexities. This webinar removed those barriers entirely by utilizing TINKERCAD, a powerful cloud-based circuit simulation suite:
- Microcontroller Architecture: Understanding the ATmega328P chip, digital vs. analog pins, pulse-width modulation (PWM), and serial communication.
- Experiential Simulation: Attendees wired LEDs, sensors, breadboards, and resistors within virtual workspaces, writing live C++ firmware to control circuit behavior.
- Interdisciplinary Innovation: Exploring how IoT edge devices power smart home automation, environmental telemetry, and robotics projects.
Action-Oriented Learning
By blending theory with interactive live simulations, ADC and Sapientury empowered attendees to confidently prototype interdisciplinary engineering ideas straight from their web browsers.
